Larry R. Pettit, CPA, CITP, CGMA, President and Chief Executive Officer

Larry R. Pettit is the creator of Carillon ERP and founder of Carillon Financials Corporation. Pettit has extensive experience in the accounting and information technology consulting industry dating back to 1976. His previous positions include Senior Audit Manager at Arthur Andersen & Co. and Senior Manager in the IT Division of KPMG Peat Marwick. He has also held various management positions in an international distribution company and a manufacturing company. During his time in these various positions, Pettit saw time and time again the shortcomings and laborious processes inherent in ERP systems. Keeping in mind the shortcomings and flaws of other ERP systems, he began to develop Carillon ERP. His goal was to create a comprehensive and user-friendly system that could be enhanced as much as needed, but still easily upgraded.

Pettit graduated from Canisius College in Buffalo, New York, with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He is an active member of the AICPA and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is also a certified Microsoft Small Business Specialist and an AICPA Certified Information Technology Professional. Additionally, Pettit is the managing shareholder of Pettit Consulting, P.C., which is a member of the Center for Public Company Audit Firms, the AICPA, and the Texas Society of CPAs.
